Platform practices
Controls you can evaluate today
Each item below maps to capabilities or patterns present in the TMS application. Speculative or deployment-specific items are called out.
JWT authentication
Authenticated sessions use signed JWT-based session handling so access to the app is tied to verified credentials and session controls.
Role-based access (RBAC)
Permission codes and roles limit what company, carrier, and admin users can view or change across modules.
Audit logging
Sensitive actions can be recorded for accountability — useful for investigating changes to documents, access, and administrative work.
Stripe billing
Payment method handling and invoicing integrate with Stripe. Full card numbers are not stored in TMS application databases.
Secure document links
Public token flows support driver updates, uploads, signatures, and related document access without granting full portal credentials.
Rate limiting
Request rate limiting helps reduce abuse on sensitive endpoints such as authentication and public token routes.

- Encryption at rest, penetration testing cadence, and specific hosting hardening depend on your deployment environment and should be confirmed for production.
- Customer administrators remain responsible for inviting the right users and assigning least-privilege roles.
